CLEVELAND 〓 Cleveland Orchestra stops European tour

The Cleveland Orchestra announced on March 9 that its European tour and Abu Dhabi concerts will be canceled due to the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19).

The tour was scheduled to take place between March 19 and April 4, led by music director Franz Welser-Mest, traveling to Linz, Vienna, Paris and Abu Dhabi.

The co-starring soloists were scheduled for Julia Fischer, Yo-Yo Ma and baritone singer Simon Keenlyside.
