SION 〓 Tibor Varga International Violin Competition has ended

Tibor Varga International Violin Competition(Concours International de Violon Tibor Varga) closed on the 26th. The winners are as follows. The competition was founded in 1967 by Tibor Varga, a Hungarian violinist and music teacher. Held in Sion, Valais, Switzerland, for young violinists aged 15 to 32. Held once every two years, this year has been held since the 19th. Past winners include Teiko Maehashi, Jean-Jacques Kantorow, and Vadim Repin.

 First prize:Anna Agafia EGHOLM (22, Denmark)
 Second prize:Adam Koch CHRISTENSEN (19, Denmark)
 Third prize:Roksana KWASNIKOWSKA (24, Poland)
