British horn player Katy Woolley was appointed Principal horn player of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. Wooly is 30 years old born in Exeter, UK. Acting at Philharmonia Orchestra from the Royal College of Music, she became the principal player at the age of 22 in 2011. In September 2012, she was hit by an accident that her instrument (Alexander 103’s special model) was stolen in the Swiss train.
