The flute world legend, James Galway (1939 -), was awarded the Order of Arts and Culture (L ‘Ordre des Arts et des Lettres) by the French French Minister of Culture. The Order of Arts and Culture is awarded to those who have outstanding achievements in the field of “art and literature”.
