YEKATERINBURG 〓 Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theater invite Konstantin Chudovsky to the Principal Conductor

The Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theater in Russia decided to invite Konstantin Chudovsky (36) to the Principal Conductor. Yekaterinburg is the fourth largest city in Russia with a population of over 1.45 million, spreading from Moscow to about 1400 km, at the foot of the Ural mountains in Russia. The Opera and Ballet Theater was founded in 1912 and is an opera house under the direct control of the Russian government.

Chudovsky studied at the Gunesyn Music School, the Moscow Conservatory and was one of the students of Gennady Rozhdestvensky. Since 2013 he has served as the chief conductor of the Santiago Municipal Theater (Teatro Municipal de Santiago) in Chile and has just extended his term to 2020 in this year.
