Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra announced on the 2nd that it had dismissed the chief conductor, Daniele Gatti, who was reported on sexual harassment. In response, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra conducted an internal survey. As a result, “Since the publication of the article, many of the colleagues of the orchestra’s women reported their experiences with him, it is inappropriate to consider the status as the chief conductor.” Gatti has assumed office as chief conductor since 2016/2017 season. He leave that post in two years.
