The Bregenz Festival in Austria has announced operas to be performed on the lake stage in 2024 and 2025. The performance will be Weber’s “Der Freischütz”, with Phlipp Stölzl working on a new production.

According to the announcement, next year’s music festival will be held from July 20th to August 21st. Puccini’s “Madama Butterfly” will be staged on the lake stage in 2022 and 2023, with 25 performances scheduled. In addition, Giordano’s “Siberia” will be performed at the lakeside festival theater.

This year’s music festival ends on August 22nd. It is held without any restrictions on admission, and over 240,000 people visited during the period.

However, the four performances of Rossini’s “L’Italianiana in Algeri” have been canceled due to the appearance of COVID-19 positives in the performance staff.
