The Rossini Opera Festival, held in the composer’s birthplace of Pesaro, Italy, has announced its lineup for 2027. The festival will take place from August 12 to 24, featuring new productions of two works: *La donna del lago* and *Tancredi*.
The festival opens with *La donna del lago*, directed by Johannes Erath—who returns following his 2024 Abbiati Award-winning production of *Ermione*—and conducted by François López-Ferrer. Meanwhile, the other new production, *Tancredi*, is directed by Paul Curran, making his festival debut, with Yves Abel conducting.
The revival is *Adina*, directed by Rosetta Cucchi—originally staged in 2018—with George Petrou conducting this time. The festival concludes with the *Petite Messe Solennelle*, conducted by Francesco Lanzillotta.
