VIENNA 〓 Villazón will take a rest for surgery

Tenor singer Rolando Villazón announced that he will take a rest for gastro-enterological complaint. Villazón canceled two recitals in December. He will also cancel the appearance in Mozart week in January and Mozart “Don Giovanni” in the Vienna State Opera in March. After surgery, it is said that he will return with a concert to be held in Frankfurt on March 20 after rest.
