A young singer from Belgium who sang “Queen of the night” as a substitute in the performance of “Magical Flute” on 4th was a great success.

“Queen of the Night” was originally sung by Albina Shagimuratova, who makes this role the biggest hit. But on this day, she canceled 3 hours before opening due to poor physical condition. There, Emma Posman who was singing “Queen of the Night” participated in a “magical flute for children” performance by young singer and appeared as a substitute.

Posman is 23 years old, and she studied under Hendrickje van Kerckhove at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent. Later, she is studying at the Academy of théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels.

This night’s performance was recorded by ORF (Austrian national public service broadcaster), and over 200,000 viewers watched the broadcast.
