MUNICH 〓 Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra Announce New Concertmaster

The Bavarian Radio Symphony has announced the appointment of German violinist Thomas Reif(27) as its new 1st Concertmaster. He will start working from November. of this year.

He studied under the Bruno Steinschaden and Harald Herzl at the Salzburg Mozarteum Conservatory. After that, He learned from Tanja Becker-Bender at Hamburg Hochschule für Musik.
In addition, he studied at Hanschler für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin. The prize history of the competition is magnificent. His has a brother Christian Reif(29), resident conductor of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra.
