Opera Graz, in Austria, announced its programming for the 2018/2019 season. The musical director is Oksana Lyniv, in her second year. Lyniv was born in 1978, Brodie of Ukraine. After learning at Lviv’s Conservatory, she began activities as a conductor locally. She won third prize in the 1st “Gustav Mahler Conductor Competition” held by Bamberger Symphoniker in 2004. With that as an assistant to Bamberger Symphoniker’s conductor Jonathan Nott. After that, she studied at the Dresden Conservatory and others. Until came to Graz, she was an assistant to Kirill Petrenko in the Bavarian State Opera since 2013. The lineup is as follows.
