Jakub Hrůša extended the contract with Bamberger Symphoniker who will serve as chief conductor from 2016. The term of office extends until 2026. Furusha was in 1981. Born in Brno, Czech Republic. After studying piano and trombone as a child, after entering the Prague Academy of Arts, Jiří Bělohlávek, Radomil Eliška and others learned conducting. Since 2008 he has served as music director and principal conductor of Prague Philharmonia, following the teacher Bělohlávek, and in 2010 he served as the youngest conductor of the opening concert of the music festival “Prague Spring”. In addition to the relationship with Japan, Principal guest conductor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra (2010 – 2018). In 2011, He was chosen as a British music magazine “Gramophone”, “10 young conductor who is likely to become a major conductor”.
