LEWES 〓 Competition “Opera Cup” ends, winner is American mezzo soprano, Samantha Hankey

Final of the competition for young singer “Glyndebourne Opera Cup” was held on 25th, American mezzo soprano, Samantha Hankey won. Hankey was born in Marsh Field, Massachusetts, after studying at Juilliard School of Music in Walnut Hill Art School, he received the “Peter Mennin Award” at the time of graduation. Second place was American soprano, Jacquelyn Stucker, third place Kosovo soprano, Elbenita Kajtazi. “Glyndebourne Opera Cup” is a judge of art director Barrie Kosky of Komische Oper Berlin, art director of Zurich opera Sophie de Lint, art director of Fenice theater Fortunato Ortombina, famous mezzo soprano singer Janet Baker and others .
