Global tenor singer Plácido Domingo withdraws from the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Official Cultural Program. Announced by the Organizing Committee on the 8th. Domingo was scheduled to perform with Kabuki actor Ebizo Ichikawa next April as “Kabuki x Opera”. Allegations of sexual harassment about Domingo emerged in mid-August. AP News reported that Domingo has sexually harassed female singers and dancers since the late 1980s, and some victims have complained of damage in their real names.
