Finnish conductor Dalia Stasevska was decided this year ‘s “Nobel Prize conductor”. She will Conduct the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra at the awards ceremony and banquet held on December 10 in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. The female conductor will be appointed second only to Sweden’s Marie Rosenmir in 2016.
Stasevska was born in Kiev in Ukraine in 1984. She studied violin, viola, composition, and command at the Sibelius Conservatory in Helsinki, and was studied under Jorma Panula, Leif Segerstam. After serving as assistant of Esa-Pekka Salonen, Paavo Järvi, she is Conducting the orchestras throughout Europe.
