MUNICH 〓 〓 Bavarian State Opera Extends Contracts with President Serge Dorny and General Music Director Vladimir Jurowsky

On June 17, the German state government of Bavaria extended the contracts of Serge Dorny, president of the Bavarian State Opera, and Vladimir Jurowsky, general music director. Dorny’s term will be extended by five years to 2031, while Jurowsky’s term, which he has held since the 2021/2022 season, will be extended by three years to 2028. Both are 62 years old.
