PESARO 〓 Rossini Opera Festival to be held as planned

2020/05/17

The Rossini Opera Festival in Italy has announced the opening as scheduled. Due to the spread of the new coronavirus, the festival has stopped selling tickets until now. The 41st Festival will be held from August 8th to 20th, as originally planned.

The opera performance at the Rossini Theater will have an orchestra in the seating space, which will be viewed by the audience from inside the box. Outdoor performances at Popolo Square will be held as usual.

This year’s new performance will be “La cambiale di matrimonio”. Directed by Graham Vick, Russian tenor singer Dmitry Korchak will debut as a conductor at this performance.
