Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra announced that they will start Bruckner’s symphony cycle by Christian Thielemann. Beginning in 2019, it will be held for five years until 2024, which will be Bruckner’s birthday 200 years. It is characterized that the venue is a church in Europe. The first concert will be held at Berlin Cathedral on May 2nd and the second Symphony will be played. Every time, the program will be organized in combination with contemporary works.
