Around the Music Festival

The Opera Las Palmas presents its season. This season is the 52nd season for them. It opens in February, performs one opera per month, and plays five Productions by the closing of June. Five Productions to be performed are Verdi “Don Carlo”, Mozart “Così fan tutte”, Puccini “Tosca”, Bellini “Norma”, Bellini “La Sonnambula”.

The Spanish Territory Canary Islands are 150 km offshore from Morocco in Africa. It is made up of 7 islands and has a temperate climate in winter, it is known as one of Europe’s leading winter resort areas. Las Palmas is the center of the Grand Canary Island, the Legendary tenor singer Alfredo Kraus was born in this city. Opera performances are being performed at Perez Galdos Theater. The name of the theater is attributed to Las Palmas-born novelist (Benito Perez Galdos, 1843-1920). Production is as follows.
