KANAZAWA 〓 Minkowski becomes a new artistic director of orchestra ensemble Kanazawa

French National Bordeaux Opera director general director and music director Marc Minkowski (55) has been appointed as artistic director of the Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa (OEK) since September 2018. Ishikawa Prefecture Music Culture Promotion Agency announced on January 4. Succeeding Mr. Michiyoshi Inoue who retires from the music director. Minkovski has served as the principal guest conductor. Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa is an orchestra which is the core of the international music festival “Spring Green Music Festival” which began in Kanazawa last year.
