Composer John Williams will turn 90 on February 8. On February 4, the live album of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra’s last October concert will be released. The Kennedy Center in Washington will also host a three-day festival from June 22th to 24th.
Williams is a Hollywood film music legend who has worked on numerous film scores centered on Steven Spielberg’s films. He has won 25 Grammy Awards, 5 Academy Awards, 5 Emmy Awards, and 4 Golden Globe Awards.
The year before last, he made his debut as a conductor with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, and his live album became a worldwide hit and became the best-selling classical album in 2020.

This Berlin edition is a recording of the concert that took place from October 14th to 16th last year.
Contains songs not included in the Vienna edition, such as “Superman March”, “The Throne Room and End Title”, and the theme song “Olympic Fanfare and Theme” for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
