Since then, he has been contributing to the US musical scene for over half a century. His five works such as “Company”, “Into the Woods”, and “Sweeney Todd” won the Tony award’s music award. He also won a special award in 2008. The Tony Award has been won eight times in all, the highest number of awards for composers.
