“Miss America” was founded in 1921, the miss contest which represents the United States (unmarried woman with American citizenship of 17 to 24 years old can participate). In addition to representatives from 50 states in the nation, 52 people including the representatives of the District of Columbia and the representatives of the US Virgin Islands will participate in the final round. The swimsuit examination has become one of the highlights since the establishment, but it was abolished from this year.
