MADRID 〓 Iberia Airlines named its first A 350 in ‘Plácido Domingo’

Iberia is Spain’s flagship airline announced on the 9th that the company’s first A350 paint finish was completed. This A 350 is named “Plácido Domingo”. Iberia Air had previously had the same name A340-300, but it was already retired and Domingo’s name was temporarily gone.

The A350 has 31 seats for business, 24 seats for premium economy and 293 seats for economy. Receipt is due at the end of June. It will be used for regular flights on short and medium range routes in July, and then will be launched in Madrid – New York from August.
