The Cleveland Orchestra has announced the return to the field of Franz Welser-Möst, the orchestra’s music director.
Welser-Möst was inactive last September after that he would need to undergo 12 to 16 months of treatment for cancer.
The return to the stage is a subscription concert from January 11 to 13, with a program featuring Bartok’s “The Miraculous Mandarin” as the main work.
