The Berlin State Opera has announced that it will cancel all performances until May 1. The festival “Festtage” held during Easter will also be cancelled. This is the first time that a major music festival held during Easter has decided to cancel.

This year’s “Festtage” was scheduled from March 26th to April 5th. During the period, Mozart’s “The Marriage of Figaro” and Wagner’s “Parsifal” were scheduled to be performed. Of these, “The Marriage of Figaro” is a new production, and Vincent Huguet was in charge of the new production.
