The Arena di Verona Festival has announced its casting for its 97th annual festival. More than usual year, star singers will come together. Also this year, performances will be held commemorating the 50th anniversary of Placido Domingo’s music festival appearance. Excerpts from three works of Verdi “Nabucco”, “I Due Foscari” and “Macbeth” will be performed.
