The Glyndebourne Festival Opera in the United Kingdom has already announced a lineup of opera performances in 2022. Next year, the 2022 Festival will be held from May 21st to August 28th.
The opening is “The Wreckers” composed by British female composer Ethel Smith (1858-1944). The work, which premiered in Leipzig, Germany in 1906, was premiered in England in 1909 with the help of Thomas Beecham.
