Munich 〓 Bavarian State Opera announcing 2018/19 season

The Bavarian State Opera (Bayerische Staatsoper) in Munich announced the lineup of the 2018/2019 season on the 18th. It is the biggest topic to focus on the composer Ernst Krenek (1900 – 1991) persecuted by the Nazis and will perform his opera “Karl V”. Another topic is that popular tenor Jonas Kaufmann will appear in “Otello” which will be the first premier (new production) of the 2018/2019 season.
