MILAN 〓 La Scala Makes Streaming Service Free

On September 1, Teatro alla Scala transitioned its streaming service, “LaScalaTV”—previously a paid service—to one that is free simply by registering.

The new service was launched with the support of Intesa Sanpaolo, and the initial lineup features 44 operas, eight ballets, and 26 concerts.

Additional upcoming performances reportedly include Donizetti’s *L’elisir d’amore* conducted by Marco Alibrando on September 16, a concert conducted by Daniele Rustioni on September 25, and Gounod’s *Faust* conducted by Rustioni on November 8.
