MUNICH 〓 BR-KLASSIK reposts behind-the-scenes documentary of Netrebko and Villazon’s “La Traviata”

“BR-KLASSIK” operated by Bayerischer Rundfunk has revived the topical documentary on its homepage. The revived content is a documentary of Verdi’s “La Traviata” performed at the 2005 Salzburg Festival.

The performance at this time attracted unprecedented attention with the co-starring of soprano Anna Netrebko and tenor Roland Villazon. It is known that its success pushed Netrebko to the top star position, and Villazon started directing activities.

Willy Decker directed this performance, and it is interesting to see how he instruct on the stage. Not only Netrebko and Villazon, who are passionate about acting, but also the enthusiasm of the Participants working on the monumental performance is transmitted.
