Baritone singer Simon Keenlyside was awarded the title of Knight on the 7th. Keenlyside was born in London in 1959. He grew up as a family of musicians, both grandfather and father were violinist. He has been working as a choir of St. John’s College Cambridge University since childhood. He studied zoology at the University of Cambridge and studied vocal at the The Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. In 1988 he debuted professionally singing the Count Almaviva at the Hamburg State Opera “The Marriage of Figaro”. After that, international activities are continuing.
