VIENNA 〓 Fedor Rudin becomes a concertmaster of the Vienna State Opera

Violinist Fedor Rudin passed the audition of the concertmaster of the Vienna State Opera Orchestra. After 2 years trial period, it will be officially adopted. Rudin was born in Moscow in 1992. He has a former Soviet composer, Edison Denisov, as his grandfather and is raised in Paris. Learned from Zakhar Bron at the College of Music of Cologne, studied under Pierre Amoyal at Salzburg-Mozarteum Conservatory. Later he learned the violin to Boris Kuschnir at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, and Simeon Pironkoff at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He won the second place at the George Enescu International Competition in 2014 and won second place in the 2018 Paganini International Competition.
