LONDON 〓 Famous recording studio “Lyndhurst Hall” is on sale

The recording studio “Lyndhurst Hall” of AIR (= Associated Independent Recording) near North London Hampstead is on sale. “Lyndhurst Hall” is the world’s largest studio opened by AIR’s founder George Martin in 1991. Martin is a famous producer who was told “the fifth Beatles”.

Originally remodeled the church building which has been used for recording big artists such as Michael Jackson, Police, Duran Duran, Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones and a brilliant history. Also, since orchestra enters into a wide recording space of 300 meters square, it has been used frequently in orchestra recording of movie music.

In the movie “Score” that gathered topics, it appeared with a comment of a musician’s “ghost appears.” According to reports by US Billboard magazine, it is worth 4 million dollars for recording and editing equipment including the 96-channel world’s largest recording console “Neve 88R”.
