Germany’s Opera Leipzig has announced its performance lineup for the 2022/2023 season. The five new productions are as follows.

Ulf Schirmer, who was both music director and artistic director of the Leipzig Opera, retired this past July.

Before that, the company has just completed a major event, “Wagner 22,” an intensive production of 13 Wagner operas from June 20 to July 14.
