Marc Minkowski extended the contract with Bordeaux National Opera. Minkowski served as coach at the term of three years from 2016. The term of office will extend until 2022. Minkovski was born in Paris in 1962. After working as a bassoon player, in 1982 he founded the Ancient music ensemble “Les Musiciens du Louvre” and started activities as a conductor. Since 2012 he has served as art director of the Salzburg’s Mozart Week and from the year 2018 he is also an artistic director of the Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa in japan.
