It turned out that Berliner Philharmoniker ‘s Principal horn player David Cooper was leaving. The reasons for the withdrawal are announced as personal circumstances. Cooper was born in Michigan. After graduating from the Curtis Institute of Music, he joined the Dallas Symphony Orchestra as the 3 rd horn, in 2013 Principal horn player. After the audition at the end of 2016, he moved to Berliner Philharmoniker and took office as a Principal horn player (Principal horn player was vacant after Radek Baborák left in 2010). The Berliner Philharmoniker decides to audition not only the Principal horn player who became vacant, but also two horn players, so the members of horn are likely to change dramatically.
