MATSUMOTO 〓 Ozawa cancels all the concert at Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival

The executive committee of “Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival” announced on 11th that it will cancel all three performances scheduled to be directed by Seiji Ozawa (82). In April, Ozawa received surgery for aortic valve stenosis, now being rehabilitated.

The committee said that it was still time to recover his physical strength. 3 Performances will be performed with other conductor and the program, changing the ticket price.

While staying in Matsumoto during the music festival Ozawa will participate in the rehearsals of each performance as general director.
