Verdi “Rigoletto” was performed on the 2nd at the Roman Opera (Teatro dell’Opera di Roma), the theater’s 2018/2019 season began. Daniele Abbado is working on a new production. Roberto Frontary in Rigoletto, Ricette Oropesa in Jilda, Ismael Jordi to Il Duca di Mantova, Riccardo Zanellato to Sparafucile and Alisa Colosova to Maddalena. The conductor is Daniele Gatti. In August He was dismissed from the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra’s Principal conductor as a result of sexual harassment and several performances were canceled. It is the first time to Conduct in Italy after a scandal.
