Live DVD of “BBC Proms” in 2016 will be released from “Naxos”. What is recorded is the concert of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra. Munich Phil was led by Valery Gergiev who took office as the chief conductor in 2015 and guests guest at “BBC Proms” this year. The brilliant young Uzbek pianist Behzod Abduraimov performs Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No.3 and Symphony No.3 of Russian contemporary composer Galena Ustvoris Kaya “Salvation Jesus, save us “, Ravel ‘s” Bolero “etc. World release is in mid-February (2110572).
