Live DVD of Christian Thielemann’s two night concert at the Salzburg Festival was released from “Opus Arte”. What is recorded is a concert that directed Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and Dresden Staatskapere (= Saxony State Opera Orchestra). Other than the Symphony No.7 of Bruckner with Dresden, with Rihart Strauss’ s “Eine Alpensinfonie” with Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, he performed with soprano Renée Fleming, mainly Strauss and Wolff songs. World release is December 29 (OA 1258 BD).
