The Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra (DR Symfoniorkestrets), which celebrated its 100th anniversary on October 28, has released a perfume to commemorate the occasion. It was developed by Principal Conductor Fabio Luisi, who is also a qualified professional perfumer. The perfume can only be purchased from the orchestra’s website.

The new fragrance, named “Joie Éclatante” (Shining Joy), was released. Regarding the development of the perfume, Luigi said, “Scents are a bit like music in that they transcend the intellect and appeal directly to the emotions. When you smell a scent, emotions, memories, or moods immediately come to mind. Music is exactly the same.”
