Italy’s Festival Verdi has announced its performance lineup for 2024, which will be held from September 21 to October 20 under the theme “Power and Politics.

Three operas will be performed: “Macbeth” in French, “Un Ballo in Maschera,” and “The Battle of Legnano. In addition, “Attila” will be performed in concert style.

In addition to the four operas, there will be a performance of a requiem conducted by James Conlon, a gala concert by the Musica Eterna Orchestra led by Teodor Currentzis and conducted by Francesco Lanzillotta, and a recital by Maurizio Pollini.
