Japan’s “Aoi Trio” won the piano trio division of the Munich International Music Competition (Internationaler Musikwettbewerb der ARD) on 15th. “Aoi trio” is piano Akimoto Kosuke, violin Ogawa Kyoko, cello Ito yu. It is the first time Japanese wins this division. The competition was organized by the German Public Broadcasting Federation (ARD), 67 times this time. It is known as the most prestigious contest among international competitions.
