The BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) has announced that it will decide whether to hold “BBC Proms” at the end of May.

The original schedule was to announce the program on April 22 and release tickets on May 16.

“BBC Proms” is one of the world’s largest music festivals, with more than 100 concerts held for about eight weeks from July to September. This is the milestone year of the 125th anniversary.

The spread of the new coronavirus infection in the UK has yet to peak, with 79,000 cases of infection and nearly 10,000 deaths as of April 11.

For this reason, most music festivals in the UK have been canceled except for the Glyndebourne Festival Opera, whose opening was delayed in July.
