ROTTERDAM 〓 Rotterdam Philharmonic extends contract with Lahav Shani

The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra of Netherlands has extended the contract with chief conductor Lahav Shani.

His term extends to 2026. Shani has been the chief conductor since the 2018/2019 season.

Shani is 31 years old and was born in Tel Aviv. From 2020/2021, he will be appointed music director of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
