  1. I have just heard the sad news about Peter. We met on a number of occasions when he recorded with a UK brass band. I shared my childhood UK brass band stories with him which he always found hilariously funny. A true gentleman who was also a brilliant trumpet player. On those occasions he came over to the UK and I was organising the CD recording the accompanying brass band were taken aback by his high level of performance. As we tend to say in brass bands he made his playing what ever the degree of difficulty appear to be so effortless.

A great loss to his family but also to the world wide family of brass musicians, particularly those that share his love of the trumpet.
I will be playing one of the brass band recordings he did here in the UK on my Sunday Bandstand radio show on Sunday January 20, 2019
