The lifetime of Leonard Bernstein, a conductor who celebrates 100 years of birth in 2018, will be filmed. It is reported by the US “Deadline”, and the original title will be “The American”. It is the popular American actor Jake Gyllenhaal who plays Bernstein. Gyllenhaal is also a producer. Based on Humphrey Burton’s editorial “Leonard”, Michael Mitnick handles the script. In 1943, Bernstein was appointed Assistant Conductor of New York Philharmonic at the young age of 25, and it rushed to star musicians as a trigger, but that career and conflict are drawn. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga known as “Jane Air”. The movie is scheduled to crank in the autumn.

Gyllenhaal was born in Los Angeles in 1980. He is from a family of artists whose father is a film director, mother a script writer, and her sister is an actress. He dropped out of columbia college and entered the film industry, first starring in the 1999 movie “October Sky”. It became a leading actor prize candidate for the Independent Spirit Award at the 2001 movie “Donnie Darko”. In 2005 ‘s movie’ Brokeback Mountain ‘, he played Jack, received the British Academy Award for Supportive Actor Award, and was nominated for the American Academy Award. Gyllenhaal notes that “As we know the scale of his work, we have unprecedentedly contributed to contemporary American culture, and Bernstein is a fascinating person with contradictory talent and contradiction.
