The lifetime of Leonard Bernstein, a conductor who celebrates 100 years of birth in 2018, will be filmed. It is reported by the US “Deadline”, and the original title will be “The American”. It is the popular American actor Jake Gyllenhaal who plays Bernstein. Gyllenhaal is also a producer. Based on Humphrey Burton’s editorial “Leonard”, Michael Mitnick handles the script. In 1943, Bernstein was appointed Assistant Conductor of New York Philharmonic at the young age of 25, and it rushed to star musicians as a trigger, but that career and conflict are drawn.
