Angelina Jolie’s biopic “Maria,” which portrays the life of the famous singer of the century, Maria Callas, has been completed, and images of the film have been released. Callas was born in New York City, the child of Greek immigrants. The film is set in the last week of her life. Directed by Chilean-born Pablo Larraín, this is the third biopic following “Jackie” and “Spencer,” the historical biopics about Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Princess Diana, respectively. The film co-stars Kodi Smit-McPhee, Alba Rohrwacher, Pierfrancesco Favino, and Valeria Golino.
